My Garden!

I put the seeds into my garden just now!!! Yay!

I am looking forward to seeing the sprouts coming out of the dirt.

After marring for close to 13 years, I forgot quite many things I found in my husband when I first met him. He was and still is an honorable man. He lives as an honorable and disciplined human being we rarely found in current human society. 12 years ago, I knew he was the best I had met and decided to stuck with him for the rest of my life. I was never been a smart female making a best choice. I think stuck with him is the only best decision I have made in my whole life.

It's a long winter! But I think that we are.....

getting really close to the 6-month Emergency saving. It is a small surprise to see that our 3-mo plan achievement is the 6-mo saving.

We cut our heater bill by wearing the heavy coats all day long. Ore bill was lower than last year by at least $20/pm. Not to mention that this winter was a lot colder than what it was last winter.

I did have many big expenses every month since the new year started. It made me sad for I could not see the light. Now, the beginning stage is closer to the end. Please God, keep us well and forward.

I think my hubby is on board with me this time.

I was having several big arguments with my husband about how I changed the way we handle our money. I finally had him read Dave's book and got him thinking. I told him that now we were at the same ground and so we can talk at the same tone.

What type of job am I looking for?

I have been looking for any type of weekend part-time job. I am aimless but money driven.

I had a short chat with one of my friends. The chat got me thinking of what type of job I should be aiming for. I think I still want to be my own boss working for my own business. I like to talk to people. So, I am going to make money while working part time and learning to make a living out of it.

Dave Ramsey

I have been living my life as what Dave Ramsey preached before I even knew anything about him. So, after I read his books, I found out that his plan is very easy for me to follow. His financial preaching also cleared up a few confusion I had. Right now, I am living frugal and hope my family will have a better life in the years to come and into our next few generations.

College tuition

I hope to save up enough money for my 3 children's college education. I hope they won't need to borrow money for their college education.
